BioI'm Andrea. Some kids I knew in high school used to call me 'drea (dray-uh). That nickname sort of stuck, and despite my consistent attempt at training folks out of it, Andrea never seemed to really catch on west of the puget sound. And forget Capere - they either can't pronounce it or snicker when I correct them. It seems the closer I get to my roots, I can't pretend to be better or more wicked. I'll always be dramatic, funny, compassionate, and infuriating to these people.
This is a friend's only journal. I talk a lot about sex, my interactions with others, my aspirations, politics, sociology, feminism, media, and my career. I name names. I'm also at times vague, condescending, confused, lonely, and I find it difficult to open up my weak and transparent heart to others. You're on the list because I'm mostly assured you won't be the ones selling my secrets to the tabloids. Mostly.
